Red Rag Issue

Issue

Head of strategy and planning at Number 10, Downing Street resigns and Prime Minister Gordon Brown accepts his resignation. McBride’s management of fuel crisis in 2000 impressed the then chancellor. Why he has resigned? Leaked emails proved that McBride accompanied with former labour spin doctor has planned to create a web site named Red Rag and dump notorious rumours about opposition Tory leaders and their spouses. These issues made Davis Cameron, leader of the Tory party infuriate and insisted the prime minister for apology. Brown said that such material is no more in the politics and it was discarded earlier this year. Although Brown has not passed any public comments on this issue, he has accepted McBride’s resignation.
